Preparing for your family session should be an exciting experience. As a Miami Family Photographer, I have found that the most beautiful photos come with some preparation. I send these tips to all my clients before their session, and we always get the best results. I’m so excited to share some of these tips with you today for a successful and enjoyable experience for you and your loved ones!

 

    

 

1. Choose the right location. Miami offers a diverse range of beautiful locations for family sessions. Consider your family’s personality and interests when selecting a spot. It can be the beach, the urban city streets, parks and greenery, piers.. Whatever you decide on, the location should reflect your family’s style and create a comfortable setting for everyone.

 

 

2. Time it right. Lighting is crucial for stunning photos. I always recommend scheduling your session during golden hour, which is the hour before sunset. The soft and warm light during this time adds a magical touch to your images and ensures flattering and beautiful images.

 

 

3. Keep it relaxed and fun. Family sessions are about capturing genuine moments and emotions. Have fun with your little ones, play with them and make them feel at ease. Candid shots often result in the most cherished memories.

 

 

4. Bring props and activities. Props can add a visual interest to your photos. Something simple like a sun hat, a basket or a few flowers will add a beautiful statement. You can also bring your little one’s favorite teddy bear, and incorporate fun activities that your family enjoys to create enjoyable and natural interaction and connection.
