Congratulations on this beautiful journey into motherhood! Pregnancy is a time filled with anticipation and joy, and there’s no better way to celebrate and cherish this special period than with a pregnancy photoshoot in Miami. In this blog post, I’ll share a lot of tips to help you prepare for a memorable and stunning maternity photoshoot.

 

1. Timing is key

Choosing the right time for your pregnancy photoshoot is crucial. I recommend scheduling your maternity photoshoot between 28 to 34 weeks, when your baby bump is beautifully rounded but you’re still comfortable enough to pose and move freely. Additionally, the best time of the day to do your maternity session is 1,5 hours before sunset. At this time, I love the golden hour glow, it creates magical photos for forever memories.

 

2. Location

As funny as this is, this session was done in 3 different locations. My couple’s original choice was the beach, but 10 minutes after we started shooting, it started to rain! (thank you, Miami weather). We had to reschedule the session and I offered to go to a different location to give them diversity. We ended up going to a beautiful greenery area the next day, where we finished the photoshoot watching the sunset while the boats were sailing. It was truly gorgeous!

 

3. Wardrobe

One of the things my clients love the most, is my client closet. I have a lot of dresses options for moms, suitable for pregnancy and post partum, flattering every body type. These dresses are comfortable and beautiful, perfect for your photoshoot, and saving you the hassle of going shopping for a dress you’ll probably just wear once. That’s part of my stress-free experience!

 

4. Relax and enjoy

After discussing your vision, you do not have to worry about anything. I’ll take care of everything. Your job is to simply relax and enjoy the moment with your loved one. I’ll guide you, but the more relaxed you are, the best the results will be. I love to look for love, connection and candid moments. Have fun and make jokes with your loved one, while I capture the magic.
